THE FUNDRAISING OCCASION
Founded in 1871, Rainhill Cricket Club celebrated it’s 150th Anniversary in 2021 and to help members, fans and players celebrate a momentous occasion, Fundit Now has helped the club raise much needed funds with a fundraising display which will be permanently displayed in the clubhouse.
WHAT FUNDIT NOW DID
The Fundit Now team contacted Rainhill about setting up a fundraiser with the Anniversary in mind, and the club embraced the idea after seeing some of the work Fundit Now had undertaken for the MCC at Lord’s. Rainhill launched their campaign in May reaching out to members and supporters who wanted to help fund the future of the club. By the end of July all the spaces had been reserved and the display was into production for installation in August 2021. Raising funds using our platform is easy and it only takes a few minutes to build your own fundraising web page.
THE RESULT
“The team at Fundit Now have handled all aspects of our campaign with the upmost professionalism, at all times we have been kept informed about what happens next and when we expect to receive our Fundraiser display. Whilst our 150th Anniversary was an obvious occasion to wrap a scheme around, we would consider a similar campaign in the future for other fundraising initiatives.” Peter Mercer, Rainhill Cricket Club.
“Helping a club local to me has always been a priority and I would like to thank the team at Rainhill for working with Fundit Now. Their Zinc display will take pride of place in the clubhouse and will recognise all those kind donors who have helped contribute to helping fund new equipment for the many age groups enjoying Cricket at Rainhill.” Kevin O’Brien, Fundit Now.
FUNDITNOW.CO.UK
Fundit Now help venues and clubs raise funds, by giving donors recognition for their kind donation, by way of a personalised plaque to be installed on the wall at a venue. The team behind Fundit Now have helped many major sporting venues, but with their new innovative technology solution, they are able to take that same fundraising model to the thousands of local sporting clubs in the United Kingdom.
